Welcome to RSG Forge and Custom Ironworks
RSG Forge is built on fire, faith, and the old ways of iron.
Every piece that leaves this forge is made by hand, one hammer blow at a time — not by machine, not by shortcut. I use traditional blacksmithing and bladesmithing techniques passed down through centuries, blending them with modern metallurgy to create tools, art, and weapons that will outlast us all. The old masters knew that good steel carries a soul, and I honor that truth with every heat, every quench, every grind. This is craftsmanship you can feel — raw, honest, and born from the same fire that forged empires
About RSG Forge and Custom Ironworks
At RSG Forge, the work isn’t just mine — it belongs to a lineage of craftsmen who came before. The rhythm of the hammer, the glow of the forge, the hiss of steel in water — these are traditions older than nations.
I learned the craft at my grandfather’s side, standing on an old milk crate just to see over his anvil. He was a man who believed that steel could teach patience, humility, and respect if you listened close enough. From those first lessons — holding tongs that felt too heavy, watching sparks dance like fireflies — I learned that blacksmithing isn’t about force; it’s about understanding. Every project I take on carries his fingerprints as much as my own.
Today, I keep his spirit alive through the same time-honored techniques — shaping iron with intent, precision, and reverence. This forge stands as a bridge between eras, honoring the old ways while forging for the modern world.
And in his honor, the forge bears his name — RSG, for Robert Simeon Grenard — the man who taught me that steel remembers the hands that shape it.
